Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facilities at Government Polytechnic Shaktifarm are equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable living environment for students. Hostel rooms are categorized into single, double, and triple occupancy options, each offering different levels of comfort and privacy.
Mess billing is managed through an online system that allows students to track their consumption and make payments conveniently. The monthly mess charges include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a standard rate of ₹5000 per month for the entire semester.
Rebate policies are in place for students who do not consume meals during certain periods, such as holidays or special events. These rebates are processed automatically at the end of each month based on usage records.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The institution provides various financial aid options to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees.
- EWS Category: A 25% concession is offered for students belonging to the economically weaker section.
- MCM (Mother of Child with Disability): Full waiver on all fees for eligible mothers.
The eligibility criteria for these concessions are based on income slabs and category certificates issued by authorized bodies. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents during the admission process or within a specified timeframe afterward.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through online banking or net banking facilities provided by the institution. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, and late payments incur a penalty of ₹500 per day until full payment is received.
If a student withdraws from the program before the completion of one semester, a partial refund of fees is allowed after deducting administrative charges and hostel charges for the period already consumed.
Refunds are processed within 30 working days of receiving the withdrawal application. Students must submit all necessary documents including original receipts, leave letters, and academic records to ensure timely processing of refunds.
