Component Breakdown

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and academic resources. The fee is fixed for the entire duration of the program.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university dormitories with shared facilities such as common rooms, laundry services, and security.

Mess Advance: A monthly advance payment towards food expenses. This amount is adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.

Hostel & Mess Charges

  • Double Occupancy Room: 3000 INR/month (shared bathroom, study table, bed)
  • Triple Occupancy Room: 2500 INR/month (shared bathroom, study table, bed)

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive meals from the campus cafeteria, and charges are deducted from their mess advance account. Rebates are available for students who opt for vegetarian meals or those with medical restrictions.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

To ensure equitable access to education, Government Polytechnic Shaktifarm provides several financial aid options:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver for eligible students based on income slabs below 2 lakhs per annum.
  • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for families with annual income between 2 and 4 lakhs.
  • MCM (Migrant Community Member): 25% discount on tuition fees for students belonging to this category.

Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents including caste certificate, income certificate, and proof of residence. The process is managed by the finance department in coordination with the academic office.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments are due on or before the first day of each semester. Late payments incur a penalty of 100 INR per day after the deadline. Students can make payments through online banking, net banking, or cash deposits at designated counters.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students may apply for a refund according to the following rules:

  • Within 3 days of admission: Full refund minus processing fee of 1000 INR
  • Between 4-30 days of admission: 90% refund minus processing fee of 1000 INR
  • After 30 days of admission: No refund will be granted
