Fee Components Explanation

The Student Benevolent Fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and help maintain the university's social responsibility initiatives.

Medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided by the university hospital, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and emergency treatments. Students are encouraged to take health insurance for additional coverage.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides three types of hostel rooms: Single Occupancy, Double Occupancy, and Triple Occupancy. Each room is equipped with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and internet connectivity.

Single occupancy rooms cost Rs. 15,000 per semester, while double and triple occupancy rooms are priced at Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively. The hostel charges include utilities such as electricity, water, and internet access.

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle, with different meal plans available for students. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at fixed times, and students can customize their meals based on dietary preferences.

Rebate policies allow students to receive refunds for days when they do not reside in the hostel or miss meals due to valid reasons such as illness or travel. The rebate is calculated proportionally based on the number of missed days.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various fee waivers and concessions for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Eligibility criteria include income slabs, family size, and educational achievements.

For SC/ST/PwD categories, a 50% concession is granted on tuition fees. EWS category students receive a 25% reduction, while MCM (Minority Community) students are eligible for partial discounts based on their economic status.

Scholarships are available for meritorious students who excel academically or demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities. These scholarships are awarded annually and can cover up to 100% of tuition fees for selected candidates.

The application process involves submitting relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, disability certificates, and academic transcripts. Applications are reviewed by a scholarship committee that evaluates each candidate's eligibility based on established criteria.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid through net banking or debit card transactions via the university portal. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to avoid late fees and ensure timely processing of enrollment procedures.

Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day until the outstanding amount is cleared. Students are advised to make payments before the due date to avoid financial penalties.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program or transfer to another institution. Refunds are processed within 30 days of submission of withdrawal forms, subject to deduction of administrative charges and any pending dues.

Students seeking refunds must submit a written application along with supporting documents such as bank statements, transcripts, and official letters from previous institutions. The refund process is handled by the finance department and requires verification of all submitted details.
