Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, curriculum development, and academic resources. This fee includes access to digital libraries, laboratory facilities, and faculty mentorship.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges for on-campus housing. Rooms are categorized into single, double, and triple occupancy with varying amenities and maintenance costs.
Mess Advance: Monthly meal plan charges collected in advance to cover food expenses during the semester. The mess system provides balanced meals three times a day, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution supporting student welfare activities, scholarships, and emergency assistance programs.
Medical Fees: Covers medical consultations, health check-ups, and basic healthcare services provided by the campus health center.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational and sports activities, including gym access, sports equipment, and campus events.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs for conducting examinations, grading, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university provides comfortable accommodation in well-maintained hostels with modern amenities. Room types include single, double, and triple occupancy options, each with air conditioning, internet connectivity, and common areas.
Mess charges are inclusive of three meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The campus mess operates under strict hygiene standards and offers varied menu items to cater to different dietary preferences. Students can customize their meal plans based on seasonal availability and nutritional needs.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they are absent for more than two consecutive days due to valid reasons such as illness or travel. Additional services like room service, laundry, and security are available at extra charges.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several financial aid options to eligible students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories receive a 50% fee waiver on tuition and hostel charges. Additional concessions are available for medical expenses and examination fees.
- EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 25% fee concession on all components except tuition, which is fully waived.
- MCM (Minority Community): Students from minority communities receive a 10% discount on tuition and hostel fees.
Income slabs for fee concessions are as follows:
- Below ₹2 Lakh: Full fee waiver
- ₹2 - ₹5 Lakh: 50% fee concession
- ₹5 - ₹10 Lakh: 25% fee concession
Application for financial aid must be submitted through the university portal with supporting documents including income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and Aadhaar card.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees can be paid online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI. Payment deadlines are clearly communicated to students before the start of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty fee of ₹500 per month.
In case of withdrawal from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:
- Before 30 days of commencement: Full refund minus administrative charges
- Between 30-60 days: 75% refund
- After 60 days: No refund
Students who withdraw due to personal reasons or academic performance may be eligible for partial refunds based on institutional policies. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of necessary documentation.
