Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers various room types to accommodate different preferences and budgets. Dormitory-style rooms with shared bathrooms are available for INR 25,000 per semester, while single occupancy rooms with attached bathrooms cost approximately INR 35,000.
The mess billing system is designed to be transparent and efficient. Students pay an advance amount for meals, which is adjusted based on actual consumption during the month. Monthly bills are generated by the mess committee, ensuring fair distribution of costs among residents.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they do not reside in hostel for a certain period or miss meals due to valid reasons such as illness or academic commitments. These rebates are processed annually during the final examination period.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university provides financial assistance through various scholarship schemes targeting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Eligibility criteria include family income slabs, caste certificates, disability status, and academic performance.
For SC/ST/PwD students, fee waivers are available based on annual income below INR 2 lakh. EWS category students qualify for concessions if their family income is below INR 4 lakh. MCM (Minority Community) students receive similar benefits as per government guidelines.
The application process involves submitting relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar cards online via the university portal. Selection is done through an automated system that verifies eligibility based on submitted data.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made through net banking, debit/credit cards, NEFT/RTGS transfers, or cash at the university cashier counter. All transactions must be completed before the deadline specified in the academic calendar to avoid late fees.
Late fees are charged at INR 500 per day for overdue payments beyond the due date. Refunds are processed within 30 days upon submission of withdrawal forms and necessary documentation.
In case of refund requests, students must submit a formal application along with proof of withdrawal from the university. The refund amount is credited back to the original mode of payment used during admission, subject to deductions for administrative charges.
