Component-wise Explanation
Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and access to laboratory facilities. This component ensures that students receive quality education supported by experienced faculty and modern infrastructure.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus hostels with shared amenities such as study rooms, common areas, and recreational facilities. Room types vary from single occupancy to 4-person sharing options.
Mess Advance: A one-time payment required at the beginning of each semester for meals provided in the campus cafeteria. Refund policies apply upon completion of the semester.
Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial hardships, medical emergencies, or unexpected expenses during their academic tenure. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged for community support.
Medical Fees: Covers access to on-campus health services, including consultations with doctors, diagnostic tests, and basic medications.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports events, and fitness facilities available on campus. These fees help maintain the quality of physical wellness programs.
Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting semester-end examinations, including exam paper printing, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel system at IIPHG provides comfortable living arrangements for students from across the country. There are three types of rooms available:
- Single Occupancy Room: Features private space with individual study desk, bed, wardrobe, and internet connectivity.
- Double Occupancy Room: Shared space for two students with common facilities like study desks, wardrobes, and windows.
- Four Occupancy Room: Designed for four students, offering a cost-effective option while maintaining social interaction opportunities.
Mess charges are calculated based on meal plans offered by the cafeteria. Students can opt for standard or premium meal packages, each with different pricing structures. Refunds are processed at the end of the semester if unused meals remain after final billing.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various forms of financial assistance to eligible students based on income criteria and other factors:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive a 100% fee waiver for tuition and hostel charges, subject to verification of documents.
- EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees and full concession on hostel rent.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): Provides partial fee concessions under specific guidelines set by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Scholarship applications are submitted annually through an online portal. Eligibility is determined based on family income, academic performance, and social background. Detailed income slabs are published each year in accordance with government norms.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within the specified deadline to avoid late penalties. Payments can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or through mobile wallets using the university's payment gateway. A late fee of INR 100 per day is applicable for overdue payments beyond the due date.
Refunds are processed according to the university's refund policy. For withdrawals or transfers, the following conditions apply:
- Withdrawal within First Month: Full refund minus a processing fee of INR 500.
- Withdrawal Between 1st and 3rd Month: 75% refund after deducting a processing fee of INR 1000.
- Withdrawal After 3rd Month: No refund is granted beyond this period.
Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 4-6 weeks of submission of withdrawal forms and necessary documentation.
