Admission Process
The admission process for the Biotechnology program at Icmai University Jaipur is designed to identify promising candidates who demonstrate academic excellence and potential for success in the field of biotechnology.
The primary mode of admission is through JEE Advanced (Joint Entrance Examination Advanced), which is conducted annually by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) system. Candidates must secure a valid rank in JEE Advanced to be eligible for admission to the program.
Following the declaration of JEE Advanced ranks, the university conducts a centralized counseling process for seat allocation based on merit and preferences indicated by applicants. The counseling includes multiple rounds where candidates can modify their choices according to available seats and updated ranks.

- Regular Practice: Solve previous years' papers and take mock tests regularly to improve speed and accuracy.
- Conceptual Clarity: Focus on understanding concepts rather than rote memorization. Create concise notes for quick revision.
- Time Management: Allocate specific time slots for each subject and stick to a structured schedule.
- Exam Strategy: Learn to identify easy questions quickly and prioritize them during the exam.
- Choice Filling: In counseling, carefully analyze rank trends and choose colleges accordingly. Consider factors like location, fee structure, and placement records.
