Fee Components Explanation

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided within the campus premises with shared rooms for two students. The rent covers utilities, security, maintenance, and basic amenities.
Mess Advance: A monthly advance is collected for meals during the academic year. This ensures uninterrupted access to nutritious food and avoids any inconvenience due to payment delays.
Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are minimal but crucial for providing timely assistance when needed.

Hostel & Mess Charges
The university provides comfortable hostel accommodations with modern amenities for all students. Hostel rooms are designed to accommodate two students per room, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for studying and socializing.
Room types include single occupancy (for PwD students) and twin-sharing options. Each room is equipped with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and internet connectivity. Maintenance and cleanliness are managed by dedicated staff to ensure a hygienic living environment.
Mess charges are calculated based on meal plans provided by the university’s catering services. Meals are served in a hygienic and nutritious manner, ensuring balanced nutrition for students. Monthly mess bills are adjusted against the advance payment collected at the beginning of each semester.
Rebate policies are available for students who do not require hostel accommodation during certain periods, such as vacations or internships. These rebates are applied proportionally to the number of days when hostel facilities are not utilized.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several scholarship programs to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Eligibility criteria for each scholarship include income slabs, academic performance, and special circumstances.
SC/ST/PwD Scholarship: For students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or persons with disabilities, a 100% fee waiver is provided. This includes tuition, hostel, mess, and other recurring expenses.
EWS Scholarship: Students from Economically Weaker Sections are eligible for a 50% reduction in fees. The income slab for this category is less than INR 8 lakh per annum.
MCM (Minority Community Merit): This scholarship supports students from minority communities who excel academically and come from low-income families. A 30% fee concession is offered based on merit and need.
Application for these scholarships must be submitted through the university portal during the admission process or at any time during the academic year. Required documents include income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and academic transcripts.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees can be paid online using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, or UPI platforms. The university also accepts payment via demand draft or banker’s cheque for international students or those unable to use digital methods.
Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day beyond the due date. Students must ensure timely payment to avoid any disruption in their academic progress or hostel stay.
In case of withdrawal from the university, the refund policy applies based on the number of days spent in the institution. Refunds are processed within 30 days after submission of all required documents and clearance of dues.
The refund amount is calculated as follows:
- For withdrawals before the start of the semester: 100% refund
- Between 1-30 days: 80% refund
- Between 31-60 days: 60% refund
- After 60 days: No refund
