Institute-Wide Scholarships
IET offers several merit-based scholarships that recognize outstanding academic performance:
- MCM Scholarship: Awarded to top 10% of students in each branch, covering full tuition fees for one year.
- President's Scholarship: Provided to students with a CGPA of 9.0 or above, offering INR 20,000 per semester.
- Dean's Excellence Award: Recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in research and extracurricular activities, providing INR 15,000 per semester.
Alumni & Donor Scholarships
The institute has established partnerships with prominent alumni and donors who contribute to scholarship funds:
- Dr. Ramesh Patel Memorial Scholarship: For students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, covering INR 50,000 annually.
- Anjali Desai Foundation Award: For female students excelling in STEM fields, providing INR 30,000 per semester.
- Vikram Choudhary Legacy Fund: Supports students pursuing research in robotics and automation, offering INR 25,000 per semester.
- Suresh Reddy Innovation Grant: For students working on innovative projects, covering up to INR 10,000 for materials and travel expenses.

- Cosmopolitan Foundation Fellowship: For international students studying engineering, covering INR 50,000 annually.

Application Process
The application process for scholarships is straightforward:
- Students must submit an online application form via the institute portal.
- Required documents include academic transcripts, income certificate, and recommendation letters.
- Selection committees evaluate applications based on merit and need.
- Awarded students receive notifications via email and official communication channels.
Scholarships are renewable annually, subject to maintaining minimum CGPA requirements. Students who meet the criteria are automatically considered for renewal unless they opt out.
