Fee Components Explained
Tuition Fee

Hostel Rent
Students are required to live on campus to facilitate interaction, collaboration, and a focused learning environment. Hostel rent includes basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, and utilities.
Mess Advance
The mess advance is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover food expenses for the period. Students are billed monthly based on actual consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund
This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to foster a supportive community environment.
Medical Fees
Medical fees cover access to campus health services, routine checkups, and emergency medical care. Students are advised to maintain health insurance for additional coverage.
Gymkhana Fees
Gymkhana fees support recreational activities, sports facilities, and wellness programs. These funds contribute to maintaining a healthy lifestyle among students.
Examination Fees
Examination fees cover the cost of conducting semester-end tests, internal assessments, and final exams. Additional charges may apply for reappearances or retakes.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university operates multiple hostels with varying room types to accommodate diverse needs:
- Single Occupancy Room: INR 40,000 per semester
- Double Occupancy Room: INR 35,000 per semester
- Triple Occupancy Room: INR 30,000 per semester
- Quad Occupancy Room: INR 25,000 per semester
Mess charges vary depending on the type of meal plan selected:
- Standard Plan: INR 8,000 per semester
- Premium Plan: INR 12,000 per semester
Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or those residing outside campus. These rebates can be up to 50% of the mess advance.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various fee waivers and concessions based on academic merit, financial need, and social background:
- Merit-Based Scholarships: Top 10% of students receive full tuition fee waiver for the next academic year.
- SC/ST/PwD Concessions: Students from reserved categories receive a 50% discount on tuition fees.
- EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 25% reduction in tuition fees.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): MCM students get a 10% concession on tuition fees.
Eligibility criteria for these financial aids are based on income slabs and other qualifying factors. Applications must be submitted during the admission process or before the start of each academic year.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fee payments must be made through online portals or authorized banking channels. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced:
- First Installment: Due by 10th July for the upcoming semester
- Second Installment: Due by 10th January for the next semester
Late fees are calculated at 5% of the total amount per month. Students must ensure timely payment to avoid penalties or suspension of academic privileges.
In case of withdrawal, refund policies apply as follows:
- Withdrawal within 15 days: Full refund minus administrative charges
- Withdrawal between 16-30 days: 70% refund minus administrative charges
- Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund except for specific circumstances
Refunds are processed within 60 working days from the date of withdrawal. Students must submit necessary documents and obtain clearance from all departments before refunds are initiated.
