Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and access to digital libraries. This includes fees for laboratory sessions, software licenses, and special workshops conducted by faculty.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with shared facilities such as common areas, laundry services, and 24/7 security. Students can choose between single, double, or triple occupancy rooms.
Mess Advance: Prepaid monthly mess charges covering three meals a day. The advance is adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution towards student welfare activities, cultural events, and scholarships for deserving students.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical checkups, emergency care, and health-related services provided by the university's medical center.
Gymkhana Fees: Funded activities related to sports, fitness programs, and extracurricular events organized on campus.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end and annual examinations, including result processing and certificate issuance.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facilities at Madhav University Sirohi are designed to provide a comfortable living environment conducive to academic success. Room types include single, double, and triple occupancy options, each equipped with essential amenities such as study desks, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.
Mess charges follow a monthly billing system where students pay an advance amount for meals. The mess menu is prepared by professional chefs and includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated upon request.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they are absent from the hostel for more than 10 days in a month, subject to approval from the hostel authority.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Several financial assistance schemes are available to eligible students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories receive up to 100% fee waiver based on income slabs.
- EWS Category: Up to 50% fee concession for families with annual income below INR 4.5 lakhs.
- MCM (Minority Community): 25% discount on tuition fees for students from minority communities.
All applications for fee concessions must be submitted through the university portal along with supporting documents including caste certificates, income proofs, and disability certificates if applicable.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments are due by the first week of each semester. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 1000 per day until cleared. Students can make payments online via net banking or debit cards, or in person at the finance office.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies are applied as follows:
- Withdrawal within first month: Full refund minus administrative charges
- Withdrawal between 1-3 months: 75% refund
- Withdrawal after 3 months: No refund
Refunds are processed within 45 days of withdrawal confirmation, excluding holidays and weekends. Students must ensure all dues are cleared before initiating the withdrawal process.
