Detailed Fee Components

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose in supporting student education and campus life:

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instructional costs, faculty salaries, and academic resources.
  • Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation within the university campus for residential students.
  • Mess Advance: Prepayment for food services to ensure uninterrupted meal provision during semesters.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies.
  • Medical Fees: Covers healthcare services available on campus including routine check-ups and emergency treatment.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Funds athletic activities, sports facilities, and recreational programs.
  • Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations and issuing certificates.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options ranging from single occupancy rooms to shared accommodations, each equipped with essential amenities including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and laundry services.

Mess billing follows a monthly cycle where students prepay for meals based on their consumption. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or during holidays.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

The university provides various forms of financial assistance to eligible students:

  • Merit-Based Scholarships: Available to students scoring above certain thresholds in qualifying exams.
  • Need-Based Concessions: Offered to economically disadvantaged students based on income slabs and documentation.
  • Reservation Category Benefits: Special concessions for SC/ST/PwD, EWS, and MCM categories as per government norms.

Eligibility criteria for these financial aids are clearly defined and communicated to applicants during the admission process. Applications must be submitted with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates where applicable.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid by the specified deadlines to avoid late penalties. Students are advised to complete payment via online banking or NEFT/RTGS transfers to ensure timely processing.

Late fees are calculated at 1% per month on overdue amounts, with a maximum cap of INR 5000. Refund requests are processed within 30 days upon submission of required documentation and approval from the finance department.

Withdrawal from the program results in partial refund of fees based on the date of withdrawal and applicable conditions. Students are encouraged to consult with the administration before making any decisions regarding withdrawal to understand potential implications on their financial obligations.
