Maharishi Arvind University Jaipur is committed to making quality education accessible to all deserving students. The university offers a range of scholarships, both internal and external, to support academic excellence and financial need.
Institute-Wide Scholarships
Merit-Based Scholarships (MCM)
The MCM Scholarship is awarded annually to top-performing students based on their academic performance. Students must maintain a CGPA of 9.0 or above to be eligible. The scholarship covers up to 100% of tuition fees and provides an additional INR 25,000 per semester for living expenses.
Need-Based Scholarships
For students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, the university offers need-based financial assistance covering up to 70% of total fees. Applications are reviewed based on income certificates and family background.
Special Category Scholarships
Scholarships are also available for students with exceptional achievements in sports, arts, and social work. These awards recognize talent beyond academics and encourage holistic development.
Alumni & Donor Scholarships
Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students from rural areas or those who have shown outstanding leadership in community service. The award covers full tuition fees and an annual stipend of INR 50,000.
Smt. Kamala Nehru Scholarship
Named after India's first female Prime Minister, this scholarship supports female students pursuing technical education. It covers 100% of tuition fees and provides a monthly allowance of INR 10,000.
Maharishi Arvind Educational Trust Fund
This fund provides financial assistance to students from low-income families studying in engineering or management programs. Awards range from 50% to 100% coverage of fees and include a monthly stipend of INR 15,000.
Shri Ramesh Chandra Foundation Scholarship
This donor-funded scholarship supports students with exceptional academic performance and financial need. It covers up to 80% of tuition fees and provides an additional INR 20,000 per semester for living expenses.
Dr. Anuradha Sharma Memorial Scholarship
Established by the family of a former faculty member, this scholarship supports students pursuing higher education in science or humanities. It covers full tuition fees and provides an annual stipend of INR 30,000.
External Government Scholarships
Pratham Scholarship for SC/ST Students
This government initiative offers financial assistance to students from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel charges, and a monthly allowance of INR 500.
Central Sector Scholarship for OBC Students
Available to students belonging to Other Backward Classes, this scholarship provides full coverage of tuition fees and an annual stipend of INR 15,000.
PM-Kisan Yojana
This scheme supports agricultural students with financial aid for their education. Students must demonstrate family income below INR 2 lakh per annum to qualify.

Tata Trusts Educational Grant
This grant supports students from economically weaker sections of society pursuing engineering or management programs. The award covers up to 70% of tuition fees and provides a monthly allowance of INR 15,000.
Google India Scholarship
Students studying Computer Science or related fields are eligible for this scholarship. It provides full tuition coverage and a stipend of INR 25,000 per semester.
Microsoft Research Fellowship
Designed for students excelling in computer science research, this fellowship covers tuition fees and offers an annual stipend of INR 30,000. The selection is based on academic merit and research potential.
Application Process
Applications for scholarships are submitted through the university portal during specific periods each year:
- Eligibility Criteria: Students must be enrolled in a program at MAU and maintain minimum CGPA (varies by scholarship)
- Required Documents: Academic transcripts, income certificate, community certificate (if applicable), and recommendation letters
- Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted by the last week of July each year
- Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates undergo an interview or written test based on the scholarship criteria
