Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: This is the primary fee for attending classes, accessing academic resources, and receiving instruction from faculty members. It covers the cost of teaching staff salaries, infrastructure maintenance, and administrative support.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is available to all students on a shared basis. The rent includes basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, and access to common areas like kitchens and study rooms.

Mess Advance: Students must pay an advance for meals provided in campus hostels. This ensures uninterrupted service during their stay and allows for efficient meal planning and budgeting.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee is collected to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies, ensuring that no student is denied access to education due to unforeseen circumstances.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services provided within the campus health center, including consultations, vaccinations, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees contribute to the maintenance of recreational facilities such as gyms, sports fields, and cultural centers where students can engage in extracurricular activities.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options to accommodate students from different backgrounds. Hostels are equipped with modern amenities and are maintained by the administration to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.

Room Types:

  • Semi-Private Room: Accommodates 2 students per room with shared bathrooms and common areas.
  • Private Room: Single occupancy room with private bathroom and study space.
  • Double Occupancy Room: Shared accommodation for two students with private facilities.

Mess Billing System: The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle, where students are charged based on the number of meals consumed. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

Rebate Policies: Students may apply for rebates in case of illness or special circumstances. Rebates are processed by the hostel administration after verification of supporting documents.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various financial aid options to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a partial concession on hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: EWS students are eligible for a 50% waiver on tuition fees and a 25% concession on hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): MCM students receive a 25% waiver on tuition fees and a 10% concession on hostel charges.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Income Slab: Families with an annual income below Rs. 3 lakhs are eligible for full fee waivers.
  • Category Certificates: Students must submit valid category certificates issued by competent authorities.
  • Academic Performance: Minimum academic performance (60% aggregate) is required to qualify for scholarships.

Payment Methods:

  • Online Payment: Students can make payments using net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI apps through the university portal.
  • Offline Payment: Cash or demand draft payments are accepted at the finance office during working hours.

Refund Policy:
