Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and academic resources for the entire semester.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with shared amenities like common rooms, study areas, and laundry facilities.

Mess Advance: Prepaid monthly charges for meals in university mess halls. This is typically adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.

Hostel & Mess Charges

University-hosted hostels offer various room types:

  • Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 45,000 per semester
  • Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 40,000 per semester
  • Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 35,000 per semester

Mess billing is calculated based on daily consumption and adjusted monthly. Rebates are available for students who opt out of the mess system or meet certain criteria.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid is available for eligible students through:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees with partial support for hostel and mess charges.
  • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees, with full support for hostel charges.
  • MCM (Maiden Category for Merit): Full waiver on tuition fees and 75% subsidy on other charges.

Eligibility is determined based on income slabs and category certificates issued by the respective authorities. Applications must be submitted along with required documents to the finance office.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Late payments incur a penalty of 2% per month, up to a maximum of Rs. 5000. Refunds are processed only in case of withdrawal from the university and are subject to a deduction of administrative charges.

For students who wish to withdraw, the refund policy states that 80% of the fees will be refunded upon formal request and approval by the administration. The remaining 20% is retained for administrative overheads and infrastructure costs.
