Detailed Fee Components

Tuition Fee: This covers instruction and learning resources provided by faculty members. The fee includes access to digital libraries, online course materials, and laboratory sessions.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges are determined based on room type and facilities offered. Single occupancy rooms cost more than shared accommodations, with additional amenities such as Wi-Fi, AC, and study spaces included.

Mess Advance: A one-time advance payment required for meal services during the semester. This ensures that students have uninterrupted access to cafeteria services throughout their stay.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributions towards supporting financially disadvantaged students through scholarships, grants, and emergency assistance programs.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, including consultations, vaccinations, and diagnostic tests.

Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to sports facilities, fitness equipment, and organized sporting events. This fee also supports student clubs and cultural activities.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations, including invigilation, grading, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel options ranging from basic single rooms to premium shared accommodations. Each room type is equipped with essential furniture, air conditioning, internet connectivity, and 24/7 security services.

Mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed per day. Students are required to pay an advance amount at the beginning of each semester, which is adjusted upon monthly billing cycles.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or those residing outside campus premises. These rebates are processed automatically after verification by hostel authorities.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid is provided to students from economically weaker sections through a structured concession policy. Eligibility criteria include income slabs, caste certificates, and family size verification.

SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees and full waiver of hostel charges.

EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 25% discount on tuition and 50% on hostel charges.

MCM (Minority Community Member): A 10% discount on tuition fees is offered to students from minority communities.

Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents and verified by the finance department. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, need, and availability of funds.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees can be paid online through the university portal or offline at designated banks. Late payments incur a fixed penalty fee of Rs. 500 per day beyond the due date. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to ensure timely processing of student records.

In case of withdrawal, refunds are processed according to the following guidelines:

  • Withdrawal within 7 days: Full refund minus Rs. 1000 processing fee
  • Withdrawal between 8–30 days: 50% refund minus Rs. 1000 processing fee
  • Withdrawal beyond 30 days: No refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing with original receipts and supporting documents. Refunds are credited to the student's bank account within 15 working days of approval.
