Breakdown of Fee Components

Each component of the fee structure is explained below:

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, academic resources, and administrative costs associated with teaching and learning activities.
  • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus hostels along with basic amenities such as electricity, water, internet access, and maintenance services.
  • Mess Advance: A fixed amount paid for meals during the semester to cover mess charges. Actual bills are settled at the end of the semester.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: Contributes to student welfare initiatives including scholarships, emergency assistance, and extracurricular activities.
  • Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services available within the campus health center for students and staff.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational facilities such as gyms, sports grounds, libraries, and cultural events on campus.
  • Examination Fees: Covers costs related to conducting examinations, grading, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university operates several hostels with varying room types including single, double, triple, and quad occupancy options. Each hostel is equipped with essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, 24/7 security, and recreational spaces.

Mess charges are calculated based on the number of days attended and include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students can opt for meal plans or choose to pay per meal. Rebate policies are available for students staying in hostels with specific conditions such as maintaining attendance records.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several financial aid options to support deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees.
  • EWS Category: Students receive a 25% concession on tuition fees.
  • MCM (Minority Community): A 10% concession on tuition fees is provided to eligible candidates.

Additionally, students can apply for merit-based scholarships based on academic performance, leadership roles, and community service. Applications must be submitted before the start of each semester and are evaluated by a dedicated committee.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid online through the university portal or at designated banks with specified deadlines to avoid late fees. Late payments incur a penalty of Rs 100 per day beyond the due date.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students are eligible for refunds according to the following rules:

  • Withdrawal within one month: Full refund minus administrative charges
  • Withdrawal between 1-3 months: Refund of 75% of paid fees
  • Withdrawal after 3 months: No refund except in exceptional circumstances
