Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Mats University Raipur are designed to provide a comfortable and conducive environment for learning and living:

• Room Types: Single, double, and triple sharing options available with basic amenities including study desks, wardrobes, internet connectivity, and air conditioning.
• Mess Billing System: Students pay a fixed advance amount for mess facilities, which is adjusted monthly based on actual consumption. Meals are served twice daily (breakfast and lunch).
• Rebate Policies: Students residing in hostels receive rebates during holidays and special occasions, with full refund possible upon withdrawal from the hostel.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial aid options for deserving students:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive 100% fee waiver with additional benefits such as free meals and transportation.
• EWS Category: 50% fee concession along with priority in hostel allocation and scholarship opportunities.
• MCM (Minority Community): 25% discount on tuition fees and access to special financial support programs.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments are due before the start of each semester:

• Deadline: Fees must be paid by the last week of the month preceding the commencement of the semester.
• Late Fee: A late fee of INR 1,000 per day is applicable beyond the deadline.
• Refund Rules: Refunds are processed within 30 days upon withdrawal from the program. Deductions include administrative charges and any outstanding dues.
