Admissions Process

The admission process for the Electrical Engineering program at Motherhood University Haridwar is designed to identify high-caliber candidates who demonstrate academic excellence, problem-solving ability, and a passion for engineering. The process begins with registration and concludes with seat acceptance after counseling.

Step-by-Step Admission Process:

1. Application Submission: Interested candidates must register online via the university's official portal or through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced or JEE Main websites. Applications are accepted in specific periods, typically between December and January for upcoming academic year admissions.
2. Eligibility Verification: Once applications are submitted, eligibility criteria are verified against qualifying examination results, age limits, and subject combinations.
3. Admit Card Generation: After verification, candidates receive admit cards for the entrance exam. These cards contain important details such as exam date, time, venue, and roll number.
4. Entrance Exam Conduct: Candidates appear for either JEE Advanced or JEE Main depending on their qualifying eligibility. The exam tests knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
5. Counseling Process: Based on rank obtained in the entrance exam, candidates participate in a centralized counseling process conducted by the university. During this stage, they can choose from available seats across different categories (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, etc.).
