Detailed Explanation of Each Fee Component

Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, laboratory access, and course materials. The fee is updated annually based on inflation and infrastructure development needs.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges cover room rent, utilities, internet connectivity, maintenance, and security services for students residing on campus.

Mess Advance: This amount is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover food expenses. Monthly mess bills are adjusted based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributions support student welfare activities, including scholarships, medical assistance, and emergency relief funds.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's on-campus clinic and access to nearby hospitals for emergencies.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees fund sports facilities, fitness programs, cultural events, and student clubs. They also support academic competitions and extracurricular activities.

Examination Fees: This covers the costs associated with conducting internal assessments, external examinations, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel accommodations including single, double, triple, and quad-sharing rooms. Room types vary in terms of amenities such as AC, internet, study tables, and wardrobes.

Mess charges are based on a fixed monthly rate with optional add-ons for premium meal plans or dietary preferences. Students can opt for vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or hybrid mess options depending on their needs.

Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to illness or other valid reasons. Rebates are processed at the end of each semester based on attendance records and approval from the hostel administration.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid is available through multiple scholarship schemes:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fees and 100% reimbursement of hostel charges for eligible students.
  • EWS Category: 50% waiver of tuition fees and partial reimbursement of hostel charges based on income criteria.
  • MCM (Minority Community Members): Partial waiver of tuition fees and full reimbursement of hostel charges for recognized minority groups.

Eligibility is determined by official certificates issued by respective authorities. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents during the admission process or within 30 days after joining the program.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Payment can be made via online banking, NEFT/RTGS, credit/debit cards, or demand draft. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹500 per day until cleared.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies apply as follows:

  • Withdrawal within first 15 days: Full refund minus administrative charges.
  • Withdrawal between 16th and 30th day: Refund of 70% of total fees after deducting penalties.
  • Withdrawal beyond 30 days: No refund is processed unless approved by the university administration.

Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 45 working days after submission of the withdrawal request and required documentation.
