Each component of the fee structure is designed to support comprehensive academic and residential experiences for students:

• Tuition Fee - Covers instruction, laboratory sessions, library access, and administrative services.
• Hostel Rent - Provides accommodation in well-furnished rooms with amenities like Wi-Fi, electricity, and cleaning services.
• Mess Advance - Ensures meals are covered throughout the semester without additional payment.
• Student Benevolent Fund - Supports students facing financial hardships through grants and emergency assistance.
• Medical Fees - Covers healthcare services, including consultations, medicines, and vaccinations.
• Gymkhana Fees - Funds sports facilities, fitness programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Examination Fees - Covers examination conduct, result processing, and certificate issuance.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Nims University Jaipur are modern and comfortable, providing students with safe and conducive living environments. Hostel rooms come in different types:

• Single Occupancy Room - INR 40,000 per semester
• Double Occupancy Room - INR 35,000 per semester
• Triple Occupancy Room - INR 30,000 per semester

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with charges deducted from the advance amount. Meals are served in multiple shifts to accommodate different schedules and preferences.

Rebate policies allow students to receive refunds for unused meals or extended absences due to medical reasons or academic commitments. The rebate is calculated based on the number of days missed and depends on the type of hostel accommodation.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various fee waiver schemes and scholarships to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

• SC/ST/PwD Category - Full or partial fee waivers based on income slabs and category certificates.
• EWS Category - Concessions ranging from 50% to 100% of tuition fees for students with annual income below INR 2 lakhs.
• MCM Scheme - Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for top performers in Class 12th, offering up to 100% fee waiver based on performance and financial need.

Applications for these schemes must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and proof of residence. The selection process is transparent and reviewed by a dedicated committee.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students can make payments online through the university portal using secure payment gateways or offline via bank transfer or demand draft. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late fees applicable for delayed submissions:

• Late Fee Calculation - INR 500 per day beyond the deadline
• Payment Deadlines - Semesters must be paid by the first week of the semester commencement

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program before completing the academic year. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after formal withdrawal, subject to deductions for administrative costs and outstanding dues.
