🎖️ Undergraduate & M.Sc. Scholarships

🏅 Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship

• Eligibility: Available for B.Tech and 2-Year M.Sc. students from General, OBC, and EWS categories.B.Tech

• Academic Requirement:
  • 1st Year – Minimum SPI of 6.5 (no 'F' grade in the 1st semester)
  • 2nd Year & Onward – Minimum CPI of 6.5 (no 'F' grades)

• Financial Requirement: Family income must be less than ₹4.5 lakh/year.

• Benefits:
  • General & OBC – Full tuition fee waiver + ₹1,000/month for 10 months
  • SC/ST Students – Free basic messing + hostel rent exemption + ₹250/month pocket allowance

🏆 Academic Excellence & Donor Scholarships

🎖️ Institute Academic Excellence Awards

• Given to top-performing B.Tech and M.Tech students in each department.

• Based on overall CPI and merit.

• Award: Medal and certificate (no cash component).

🎖️ Sponsored / CSR / Donor Scholarships

• Provided by companies, NGOs, or individual donors.

• Usually merit-cum-means based.

• Award: ₹10,000 – ₹50,000 (one-time or annual)

🧑‍🎓 Postgraduate Scholarships

🛠️ M.Tech Assistantship

• Eligibility: Full-time M.Tech students (GATE qualified or eligible IIT B.Techgrads)

• Stipend: ₹12,400/month

• Duration: 24 months

• Condition: Mandatory academic or research assistantship (8 hours/week)

📘 M.Sc. Scholarships

• For JAM-qualified M.Sc.. students.

• Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹8,000/month (as per institute norms and fund availability)

🧪 Ph.D. Fellowships

🧬 Institute Fellowship

• ₹31,000/month for the first 2 years

• ₹35,000/month for the next 3 years

• Includes contingency grant (for research expenses)

• Duration: Up to 5 years

• Condition: Annual academic performance review required

💰 Top-up Ph.D. Scholarship

• For Ph.D. scholars working on funded projects or with exceptional records

• Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹10,000/month extra

• Duration: Project-based or max 12 months (case-wise)

🌐 International Scholarships

🌏 ICCR Scholarships

• For ASEAN and other international students (UG/PG/Ph.D.)

• Covers full tuition, hostel, books, medical, and living allowance

• Offered through Indian Council for Cultural Relations

🇯🇵 Japan Government Scholarships (MEXT / FRIENDSHIP)

• For NIT Delhi Master’s/Ph.D. graduates applying to Japan

• Includes tuition waiver, monthly stipend, round-trip airfare, and health insurance

💸 Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme

• Full waiver: Family income < ₹1 lakh/year

• 2/3 waiver: Income between ₹1 lakh – ₹5 lakh/year

• 1/3 waiver: Income < ₹2.5 lakh/year (case-specific; need-based)
