Detailed Fee Breakdown

Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and laboratory facilities. The fee is reviewed annually based on inflation and infrastructure development costs.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges include room rent, utilities, maintenance, and common area services. The hostel provides a safe, secure environment conducive to academic excellence.

Mess Advance: This is a one-time payment required for meal services during the first month of stay. Subsequent mess charges are adjusted monthly based on consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributions support financial assistance programs for students in need, scholarships, and campus welfare initiatives.

Medical Fees: Covers access to on-campus medical services, health checkups, and emergency care during the academic year.

Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to gymnasium facilities, sports equipment, and participation in extracurricular activities.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations and assessment processes.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various room types to accommodate different preferences and budgets:

  • Single Occupancy Room: INR 25,000 per semester
  • Double Occupancy Room: INR 30,000 per semester
  • Triple Occupancy Room: INR 35,000 per semester
  • Four Occupancy Room: INR 40,000 per semester

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis with flexible options for students to choose between different meal plans. Rebate policies are available for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial aid options to ensure accessibility:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee and full waiver on hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: 25% waiver on tuition fee and partial waiver on hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): 10% waiver on tuition fee.

Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs, caste certificates, and other relevant documents. Applications for fee waivers must be submitted by the specified deadline, typically before the start of the academic year.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or bank transfers. A detailed payment schedule is communicated to students at the beginning of each semester. Late payments attract a nominal late fee of INR 500 per day until the balance is cleared.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies are applied as follows:

  • Withdrawal before 15 days of commencement: Full refund minus administrative charges
  • Withdrawal after 15 days but before 30 days: 75% refund
  • Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund

All refunds are processed within 45 working days of submission of withdrawal request and necessary documentation.
