Hostel & Mess Charges

  • Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 25,000 per semester
  • Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 20,000 per semester
  • Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 18,000 per semester
  • Four Occupancy Room: Rs. 15,000 per semester

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis with flexible payment options:

  • Monthly Billing: Students pay a fixed amount for meals based on their consumption patterns.
  • Quarterly Billing: Option available for students who prefer to pay in advance for three months.
  • Annual Billing: For those planning to stay throughout the academic year, an annual billing option is provided with a discount.

Rebate policies are applicable during holidays and special occasions:

  • Summer Vacation: 50% rebate on hostel rent and mess charges during summer break.
  • Winter Vacation: Full rebate on hostel rent and mess charges during winter break.
  • Special Occasions: Partial rebates during Diwali, Holi, and other festive seasons.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college offers various financial aid options to support deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee with 50% concession on hostel rent.
  • EWS Category: 25% concession on tuition fee and 30% on hostel rent.
  • MCM (Minority Community): 10% concession on tuition fee and 20% on hostel rent.

Eligibility criteria for each category:

  • Income Slab: Annual income below Rs. 3 lakh for general category students, Rs. 2 lakh for SC/ST/PwD, and Rs. 1.5 lakh for EWS.
  • Residence Proof: Valid proof of residence in the state or union territory where the college is located.
  • Academic Performance: Minimum 70% aggregate in qualifying examination (12th grade) for all categories.

The application process involves submitting an online form along with supporting documents such as income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and residence proof. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee and decisions are communicated within 15 working days.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made through online methods including net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI. The payment deadline for each semester is set two weeks before the start of the semester:

  • First Semester: Payment due by 10th June
  • Second Semester: Payment due by 10th December

Late fees are calculated at 2% per month on the outstanding amount. For payments made after the deadline, a late fee of Rs. 1,000 is charged for the first month and increases incrementally thereafter.

The refund policy applies in cases of withdrawal or transfer:

  • Withdrawal Before Completion: Refund of tuition fee is processed within 30 working days after submission of necessary documents.
  • Transfer to Another Institution: Full refund of tuition fee minus administrative charges is provided upon receiving official transfer letter from the new institution.
  • Hostel Charges: Refunds for hostel rent and mess advance are processed within 15 working days after departure from campus.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing along with supporting documents including withdrawal letter, bank account details, and any other relevant paperwork. The finance department reviews the request and processes the refund accordingly.
