Fee Component Details

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee covers instruction in core and elective subjects, access to libraries, labs, and academic resources. It is fixed annually and subject to government regulations.

Hostel Rent

Hostel accommodation is provided within campus with shared rooms for 2-4 students. The rent includes utilities like electricity, water, internet, and basic maintenance services.

Mess Advance

Students are required to pay a one-time mess advance of ₹30,000 at the beginning of each academic year. This amount is adjusted monthly based on consumption and can be refunded upon departure.

Student Benevolent Fund

This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and help sustain student welfare programs across campus.

Medical Fees

Medical fees cover access to on-campus health services, including consultations, diagnostic tests, vaccinations, and emergency care. The fee is ₹1,000 per semester.

Gymkhana Fees

This fee covers access to sports facilities, fitness centers, and extracurricular activities organized by the student union. It supports campus culture and physical well-being.

Examination Fees

Examination fees cover the cost of conducting internal assessments, external evaluations, and result processing. It is ₹3,000 per semester.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Patel College offers multiple hostel options with varying amenities:

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several financial aid options are available to eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees
  • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees
  • MCM (Minority Community): 25% concession on tuition fees

Additional scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, leadership, and community service. The maximum scholarship amount is ₹100,000 per year.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid through online banking or credit/debit card transactions. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late fees of ₹500/day for overdue payments.

If a student withdraws from the program, a refund policy applies:

  • Before Academic Year Begins: Full refund minus administrative charges
  • During First Month: 90% refund
  • After First Month: 75% refund
  • After Third Month: No refund

The refund process is initiated within 15 working days after submission of withdrawal forms and necessary documentation.
