Each fee component plays a critical role in supporting the university's infrastructure and services. Here's an explanation of each:

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, curriculum development, and academic resources.
  • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation facilities and maintenance costs for residential students.
  • Mess Advance: Prepaid monthly mess charges covering food expenses.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: Supports financially struggling students and emergency needs.
  • Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided on campus.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Funds sports activities, gym access, and recreational programs.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Pdm University offers multiple hostel options with varying amenities to suit different preferences and budgets. Hostel rooms are categorized into single, double, and triple occupancy types, each equipped with essential facilities like beds, study tables, wardrobes, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Mess charges are collected in advance and adjusted monthly based on consumption. The mess operates on a prepaid system where students must deposit an initial amount (typically 25,000 INR) to cover six months of meals. Refunds are processed at the end of each semester if unused amounts remain.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial assistance schemes for meritorious and economically disadvantaged students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive up to 100% fee waiver based on income slabs.
  • EWS Category: Up to 50% fee concession for students from families earning below 8 lakh INR annually.
  • MCM (Minority Community): Up to 25% fee reduction for students belonging to minority communities.

Application forms for these schemes are available on the official website and must be submitted along with supporting documents like caste certificates, income proof, and Aadhaar cards.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid within the specified deadlines to avoid late penalties. Payments can be made through net banking, debit/credit cards, or NEFT transfers. A late fee of 1000 INR per month is charged after the due date.

Students who withdraw from the program are eligible for refunds subject to certain conditions. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of withdrawal documents and approval by the administration.
