Fee Components Explanation

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and access to university facilities. It includes access to libraries, laboratories, and online resources.

Hostel Rent: Hostel rent provides accommodation for students during their stay at the university. The hostel facilities include single and double occupancy rooms, common areas, and 24/7 security.

Mess Advance: The mess advance covers the cost of meals provided by the university's cafeteria. Students are required to pay an advance amount to ensure that their meals are covered throughout the semester.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students who face financial difficulties and provides assistance for emergencies and unforeseen expenses.

Medical Fees: Medical fees cover the cost of medical services provided by the university's health center. Students have access to basic medical care and consultations.

Gymkhana Fees: Gymkhana fees support the maintenance of sports facilities and activities. Students can access gymnasiums, playing fields, and other recreational facilities.

Examination Fees: Examination fees cover the cost of conducting examinations and evaluating student performance. This includes the cost of question paper preparation, evaluation, and result declaration.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides hostel facilities for students, with different room types and amenities. Single occupancy rooms are available for students who prefer privacy, while shared rooms accommodate multiple students. Each room is equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, and wardrobes.

The mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals provided and the cost of ingredients. Students are required to pay an advance amount for meals, which is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not use the hostel facilities or mess services during certain periods. These policies ensure that students are not charged for services they do not utilize.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various fee waivers and concessions for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These include scholarships for SC/ST/PwD students, EWS students, and MCM students.

The eligibility criteria for these scholarships are based on income slabs and other relevant factors. Students must submit the required documents and application forms to be considered for these financial aids.

For SC/ST/PwD students, the scholarship covers up to 100% of the tuition fee, with partial coverage for other components. EWS students are eligible for up to 50% waiver on tuition fees, while MCM students receive a 25% waiver on tuition fees.

The application process for these financial aids involves submitting the necessary documents, including income certificates, caste certificates, and other relevant certificates. The university reviews the applications and disburses the financial aid accordingly.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to make the payment of fees before the start of the semester. The university accepts payments through various modes, including online banking, credit/debit cards, and demand drafts.

Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, and late payments may attract penalties. Students are advised to make payments well in advance to avoid any inconvenience.

In case of withdrawal from the program, the refund policy is applied based on the number of days the student has been enrolled. Refunds are processed within a specified timeframe, and students are informed of the refund status.

The university also provides detailed documentation of all transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability in the fee management process.
