Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: This is the primary component of the fee structure, covering instruction, academic resources, library access, and administrative support. It remains fixed for the duration of the program.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges cover maintenance, utilities, security, and other hostel-related services. Students are required to pay this annually or per semester as per the university policy.

Mess Advance: This is a monthly advance towards meal expenses. The amount is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution to support students in need, including those facing financial difficulties or emergencies.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided within the campus medical center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and medications.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports events, and fitness facilities available on campus.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting exams, grading, result processing, and other academic evaluation procedures.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options to accommodate students from different backgrounds. The following room types are available:

  • Solo Room (Single Occupancy): INR 60,000 per annum
  • Duo Room (Double Occupancy): INR 45,000 per annum
  • Quad Room (Four Occupancy): INR 30,000 per annum

The mess billing system is transparent and based on actual consumption. Monthly bills are generated based on the number of meals consumed during the month. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or are absent for extended periods.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various financial assistance schemes to eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fee with partial concessions on hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee and full concession on hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): Eligible for 25% concession on tuition fee.

Eligibility criteria include income slabs, family size, and academic performance. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents to the finance office within the stipulated time frame.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via net banking or credit/debit cards. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, and late fees are applicable beyond the due date:

  • Late Fee: INR 1000 per day for overdue payments.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal, subject to deductions for processing fees and hostel charges if applicable.

Students who wish to withdraw from the program must submit a formal application with valid reasons. The refund process is initiated only after verification by the finance department.
