Detailed Breakdown of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative support. This fee remains constant throughout the program.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-managed dormitories with shared facilities such as bathrooms, study rooms, and common areas.

Mess Advance: A fixed monthly charge that covers meal expenses in the campus mess. This amount is adjusted annually based on inflation.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution towards student welfare programs and scholarships for financially disadvantaged students.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the institute's medical center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and medications.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities, sports facilities, cultural events, and student clubs.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations, including grading, result compilation, and certificate issuance.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facility offers multiple room types to accommodate students' preferences and budgets:

  • Single Occupancy Room: ₹15,000 per semester
  • Double Occupancy Room: ₹12,000 per semester
  • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹10,000 per semester

The mess billing system is transparent and automated. Students are charged a monthly advance of ₹15,000, which is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption. Rebate policies are available for students who stay in hostels for more than six months.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid options are available to students from economically weaker sections:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees and full reimbursement of hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and partial reimbursement of hostel charges.
  • MCM Category: 25% waiver on tuition fees and a one-time grant of ₹10,000 for book purchases.

Eligibility criteria include parental income slabs, family size, and documented proof of economic hardship. Applications are submitted through the online portal and reviewed by the financial aid committee.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late fees calculated at 2% per month on outstanding balances. Students who withdraw from the program may apply for refunds according to the following policy:

  • Before 10 days of admission: Full refund
  • Between 10-30 days of admission: 75% refund
  • After 30 days of admission: No refund

Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing along with supporting documents. Refunds are processed within 60 days after approval.
