Fee Components Explanation
- Tuition Fee: Covers instruction and academic resources including access to digital libraries, software licenses, and laboratory facilities.
- Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation, utilities, and maintenance costs for residential students.
- Mess Advance: Advance payment for meals during the semester. Actual charges are adjusted at the end of the semester based on consumption.
- Student Benevolent Fund: A fund used to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies.
- Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available within the campus medical center.
- Gymkhana Fees: Supports physical fitness programs, sports events, and recreational activities on campus.

Hostel & Mess Charges
RKDF INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT offers multiple hostel options to accommodate students from different financial backgrounds. The following room types are available:
- Semi-Detached Rooms (2-occupancy): ₹60,000 per semester including all utilities.
- Attached Rooms (1-occupancy): ₹80,000 per semester including all utilities.
- Private Suites (1-occupancy): ₹100,000 per semester including premium amenities and 24/7 Wi-Fi.
The mess billing system is based on consumption. Students pay an advance amount at the beginning of each semester, which is adjusted according to actual usage. Rebate policies apply for students who are absent for more than three days in a month or those from economically weaker sections.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We recognize the financial constraints faced by many families and offer several forms of financial assistance:
- SC/ST/PwD Concession: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees.
- EWS Concession: Students from EWS backgrounds get a 25% reduction in tuition fees.
- MCM (Minority Community Merit) Scheme: Students from minority communities who secure top ranks receive partial fee waivers.
Eligibility criteria for scholarships are based on:
- Academic performance (minimum 80% in Class 12th)
- Income slabs: Below ₹3 lakhs annually
- Special achievements (national-level competitions, publications, research contributions)
Applications for fee waivers and scholarships must be submitted along with supporting documents within the first week of admission. The selection committee evaluates applications based on merit and need.Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through online banking or NEFT/RTGS transactions. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late payments attracting a penalty of ₹1000 per day after the due date. Students are required to complete payment for all components before registration.
If a student withdraws from the program, refund policies are as follows:
- Before 30 days of admission: Full refund minus administrative charges.
- Between 31-60 days: Refund of 75% after deduction of administrative fees.
- After 60 days: No refund is allowed except in exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies or relocation.
