Hostel & Mess Charges

- Single Occupancy Room: INR 60,000 per semester
- Double Occupancy Room: INR 45,000 per semester

Mess Billing System:
The mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed. A monthly billing system is followed, and adjustments are made at the end of each month. Students can opt for different meal plans including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Roorkee College Of Engineering offers several financial assistance programs to eligible students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from reserved categories receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees.
- EWS Category: A 50% concession on tuition fees is offered to EWS category students.
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): A 50% concession on tuition fees for students from this category.
Students must submit supporting documents along with their application forms. The eligibility criteria include income slabs, domicile certificates, and other relevant proofs.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payment Deadlines: Fees must be paid within 10 days of the start of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty fee of INR 500 per day.
Refund Rules: Refunds are processed for students who withdraw from the program before the completion of their first semester. The refund amount is adjusted based on the number of days attended and expenses incurred.
Refund Eligibility:
- Students who withdraw within 10 days of admission receive a full refund.
- After 10 days, refunds are processed after deducting administrative charges.
- No refunds are allowed for students who have completed one semester.
