Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various fee waiver schemes and concession programs to support financially disadvantaged students and ensure equal access to quality legal education.
SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Persons with Disabilities categories are eligible for 100% fee waivers based on valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
EWS Category: Economically Weaker Sections students are eligible for 50% fee concession upon submission of the required documentation and verification process.
MCM Category: Merit-cum-Means Category students receive a 25% fee concession based on their academic performance and financial background as determined by the university's evaluation committee.
The application process for fee waivers and concessions involves submitting relevant documents, completing application forms, and undergoing verification by the financial aid committee. Students must provide detailed information about their family income, assets, and other relevant factors to qualify for these benefits.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
The university follows a structured payment procedure that ensures timely fee collection and maintains transparency in financial transactions.
Payment Deadlines: Students must complete their fee payments within the specified deadlines announced by the university. Late payments may attract additional charges as per the established policies.
Late Fee Calculation: For payments made after the deadline, a late fee of 5% of the outstanding amount is charged monthly until the payment is settled. The calculation starts from the day after the due date and continues until full payment is received.
Refund Policy: The university has a clear refund policy that outlines the conditions under which fees can be refunded to students who withdraw from the program or are unable to complete their studies due to valid reasons.
In case of withdrawal, students must submit a formal application along with supporting documents and undergo verification by the academic committee. Refunds are processed according to the university's guidelines, considering factors such as the time of withdrawal, fees paid, and other relevant circumstances.
