Mess charges are determined based on the number of meals consumed per day. The mess operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Monthly billing is done at the end of each month, with adjustments for leaves or absences.
Rebate policies are in place for students who take leave during holidays or during academic breaks. Students must submit formal requests to the hostel authority along with supporting documents to qualify for rebates.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The Institute offers various financial aid options to deserving students based on income criteria and other eligibility parameters:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fees with partial reimbursement for hostel charges.
- EWS Category: 50% waiver in tuition fees and full reimbursement for hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% waiver in tuition fees and partial reimbursement for hostel charges.
Applications for fee concessions must be submitted along with relevant documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, or disability certificates. The process is managed by the Finance Department and reviewed annually.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees are to be paid online via net banking or debit/credit card transactions. Students are required to complete payment within the stipulated deadline to avoid late fees and penalties.
Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 1000 per month, with additional charges based on the number of days delayed beyond the deadline. Refund policies are strictly enforced, and withdrawals from the program result in partial refunds based on the academic calendar.
Refunds are processed within 30 working days after the withdrawal request is approved. The Institute reserves the right to retain a portion of the refund for administrative costs and outstanding dues.
