Fee Structure Overview
The total fee for the Quality Assurance program at SAGAR INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES SAGAR MP is structured over four academic years. The fee includes tuition, hostel charges, mess fees, and other miscellaneous expenses. Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers instruction, lab access, library resources, and other academic facilities. It is subject to annual revision based on inflation and institutional expenses.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges are applicable for students residing on campus. The hostel provides comfortable living conditions with basic amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security.
Mess Advance: Students must pay an advance for meal expenses, which is adjusted at the end of each semester based on actual consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal amount is collected to support students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. The fund is managed by the Institute's administration.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services, including consultations, vaccinations, and first aid treatment provided on campus.
Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to sports facilities, gymnasium, and recreational activities organized by the student union.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The Institute offers multiple room types in its hostel facilities, including single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with essential furniture and utilities such as fans, beds, study tables, and storage units.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with charges adjusted according to the number of meals consumed. Students receive a monthly bill detailing their consumption and outstanding dues. Rebate policies are available for students who maintain good academic standing or participate in extracurricular activities.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The Institute offers various fee waiver schemes and scholarships to deserving students based on merit, economic background, and special circumstances. Eligibility criteria include:
- Merit-based scholarships for top performers in academics and extracurricular activities.
- Income-based concessions for economically disadvantaged families with annual income below specified slabs.
- Reservation category benefits for SC/ST/PwD students as per government guidelines.
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section) concessions for students from low-income households.
- MCM (Management Category Merit) support for students from private institutions with high academic performance.
The application process requires submission of relevant documents including income certificates, caste certificates, and academic transcripts. The selection committee evaluates applications based on merit and need.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through the official payment gateway available on the Institute's website. Students are required to make payments within 7 days of receiving the bill. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500 per day, which accumulates until the due date.
In case of withdrawal or transfer from the Institute, the refund policy applies as follows:
- Refunds are processed after deduction of administrative charges and outstanding dues.
- Students who withdraw before completing one semester will receive 50% of the fees paid.
- Those who complete at least one semester but leave before finishing the course will receive a pro-rata refund based on the number of months attended.
- No refund is granted for students who are expelled or suspended due to misconduct.
The refund is credited back to the student's bank account within 30 working days after the formal application is submitted and verified by the administration.
