Tuition Fee: This is the primary charge covering instruction, laboratory sessions, and academic resources. The tuition fee includes access to online libraries, software licenses, and research facilities.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation in campus hostels is provided at a nominal rate. The rent varies based on room type (single, double, triple sharing) and includes utilities such as electricity, water, and internet.

Mess Advance: Students pay an advance for meals during the semester. The mess billing system is managed through an online portal where students can track their consumption and make adjustments.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to foster a supportive community environment.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services, including consultations with doctors and access to a health center on campus.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports student wellness programs, fitness facilities, and recreational activities.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations and grading.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The campus offers multiple hostel options to accommodate students from different backgrounds. Hostels are equipped with modern amenities including study rooms, common areas, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 24/7 security services.

Room types include single occupancy (INR 10,000/month), double sharing (INR 5,000/month), and triple sharing (INR 3,000/month). Students are assigned rooms based on availability and preferences.

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle. Meals are served in the campus dining halls, and students can choose from vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Rebate policies apply to students who do not consume meals regularly or those facing financial hardships.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

SSSUTMS offers various financial assistance programs to support deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees. Additional concessions are available for hostels and mess charges.
  • EWS Category: Students in this category receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees and partial discounts on hostel and mess charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community): MCM students are eligible for a 25% waiver on tuition fees and reduced hostel charges.

To apply for fee waivers, students must submit income certificates and other supporting documents as per university guidelines. Applications are reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee, which ensures fair distribution of resources based on need.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students can make payments through online banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. Payment deadlines are clearly communicated at the beginning of each semester to ensure timely submission.

Late fees are charged at a rate of 2% per month on outstanding balances. Students who fail to pay by the due date may face restrictions on library access, examination registration, and other academic activities.

In case of withdrawal or transfer, refund policies are applied based on the university's regulations. Refunds are processed within 30 days of formal request submission, subject to deductions for administrative charges and unutilized fees.
