Detailed Fee Components

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose in supporting the educational experience:

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and administrative costs.
  • Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation for students living on campus.
  • Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges to facilitate daily dining.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: Supports needy students with financial assistance and welfare programs.
  • Medical Fees: Covers healthcare services available at the campus hospital.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Funds sports activities, fitness equipment, and recreational facilities.
  • Examination Fees: Covers assessment costs for end-of-semester exams and internal evaluations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities are categorized into different room types:

  • Single Occupancy Room: ₹10,000/month (inclusive of utilities)
  • Double Occupancy Room: ₹8,000/month (inclusive of utilities)
  • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹6,000/month (inclusive of utilities)

The mess billing system operates on a monthly prepayment model with flexible meal plans. Rebate policies are available for students staying more than 8 months in a year or those facing financial hardship.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid is provided through various schemes:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees with partial reimbursement of hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and full coverage of mess charges.
  • MCM (Meritorious Community Merit): Full waiver on tuition fees for top 2% performers in qualifying exams.

Eligibility is determined based on income slabs, category certification, and academic performance. Applications must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All payments are made online via net banking or credit/debit card. Deadlines for fee submission are strictly enforced to avoid late fees. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500/day beyond the due date.

If a student withdraws from the institution, refunds are processed according to the following rules:

  • Withdrawal Before First Semester: Full refund minus administrative charges.
  • Withdrawal After First Semester: Refund of remaining balance after deducting incurred fees.

The refund process typically takes 30–60 days post-withdrawal confirmation. Students must submit a formal request along with supporting documents to initiate the refund procedure.
