Detailed Fee Components
Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose in supporting the educational experience:
- Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and administrative costs.
- Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation for students living on campus.
- Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges to facilitate daily dining.
- Student Benevolent Fund: Supports needy students with financial assistance and welfare programs.
- Medical Fees: Covers healthcare services available at the campus hospital.
- Gymkhana Fees: Funds sports activities, fitness equipment, and recreational facilities.
- Examination Fees: Covers assessment costs for end-of-semester exams and internal evaluations.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facilities are categorized into different room types:
- Single Occupancy Room: ₹10,000/month (inclusive of utilities)
- Double Occupancy Room: ₹8,000/month (inclusive of utilities)
- Triple Occupancy Room: ₹6,000/month (inclusive of utilities)
The mess billing system operates on a monthly prepayment model with flexible meal plans. Rebate policies are available for students staying more than 8 months in a year or those facing financial hardship.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Financial aid is provided through various schemes:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees with partial reimbursement of hostel charges.
- EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and full coverage of mess charges.
- MCM (Meritorious Community Merit): Full waiver on tuition fees for top 2% performers in qualifying exams.
Eligibility is determined based on income slabs, category certification, and academic performance. Applications must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All payments are made online via net banking or credit/debit card. Deadlines for fee submission are strictly enforced to avoid late fees. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500/day beyond the due date.
If a student withdraws from the institution, refunds are processed according to the following rules:
- Withdrawal Before First Semester: Full refund minus administrative charges.
- Withdrawal After First Semester: Refund of remaining balance after deducting incurred fees.
The refund process typically takes 30–60 days post-withdrawal confirmation. Students must submit a formal request along with supporting documents to initiate the refund procedure.
