Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships to eligible students. The following are the criteria for each category:
SC/ST/PwD
Students belonging to SC, ST, or PwD categories are eligible for a 100% fee waiver. The eligibility is determined based on the caste certificate or disability certificate issued by the government.
EWS
Students from economically weaker sections (EWS) are eligible for a 50% fee waiver. The eligibility is determined based on the income certificate issued by the government.
MCM
Meritorious candidates who have secured a rank in the top 100 in the JEE Advanced or NEET are eligible for a 100% fee waiver. The eligibility is determined based on the rank obtained in the entrance examination.
The application process for fee waivers and scholarships is conducted online through the university portal. Students are required to submit the necessary documents, including income certificates, caste certificates, and rank certificates, along with the application form.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
The payment of fees is to be made online through the university portal or at the designated payment centers. The payment deadlines are as follows:
- First semester: Before the start of the semester
- Second semester: Before the start of the semester
- Third semester: Before the start of the semester
- Fourth semester: Before the start of the semester
- Fifth semester: Before the start of the semester
- Sixth semester: Before the start of the semester
- Seventh semester: Before the start of the semester
- Eighth semester: Before the start of the semester
Late fees are applicable for payments made after the deadline. The late fee is calculated at 5% per month on the outstanding amount. In case of withdrawal from the university, the refund policy is as follows:
- Withdrawal before 15 days of the start of the semester: 100% refund
- Withdrawal between 15 and 30 days of the start of the semester: 75% refund
- Withdrawal after 30 days of the start of the semester: 50% refund
The refund is processed within 30 days of the withdrawal application, and the refund amount is credited to the student's bank account. The university also provides a detailed receipt for all transactions, which can be used for financial documentation.
