The total fee structure for the Agriculture program at The Aryavart International University North Tripura is designed to be transparent, comprehensive, and affordable. Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction and academic resources. It includes access to libraries, laboratories, digital learning platforms, and faculty mentorship.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges for campus-hostel residents. The university offers multiple room types with varying amenities and pricing options.
Mess Advance: A fixed amount paid upfront for monthly mess expenses. The actual billing is done at the end of each month based on consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A fund supporting students in need, covering emergency expenses or special initiatives aimed at student welfare.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus, including consultations, vaccinations, and minor treatments.
Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to sports facilities, gymnasiums, recreational activities, and physical fitness programs.
Examination Fees: Covers the costs associated with conducting semester-end and annual examinations, including evaluation, grading, and certification processes.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university provides comfortable hostel accommodations for students from across India. Hostels are equipped with basic amenities such as study rooms, common areas, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 24/7 security.
There are several room types available:
- Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹15,000/month
- Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹10,000/month
- Triple Occupancy Rooms: ₹8,000/month
- Quad Occupancy Rooms: ₹6,000/month
Mess charges are calculated monthly based on consumption and vary depending on the mess category (A, B, C). The billing system is automated, with deductions made from student accounts at the end of each month.
Rebate policies are available for students who attend classes regularly or participate in extracurricular activities. Students can also request refunds for unused hostel stays during holidays or leave periods.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various financial assistance programs to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees.
- EWS Category: Students from economically weaker sections receive a 50% discount on tuition fees.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): A 25% concession on hostel rent and mess charges.
Income slabs for scholarship eligibility:
- Below ₹3,00,000/year: Full scholarship
- ₹3,00,000–₹6,00,000/year: 50% scholarship
- ₹6,00,000–₹10,00,000/year: 25% scholarship
Students must submit documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, Aadhaar card, and bank statements during the application process.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within the specified deadline to avoid late payment penalties. The university provides online payment options via net banking, credit/debit cards, UPI, and NEFT/RTGS transfers.
Late fees are calculated as 5% of the outstanding amount per month, capped at ₹10,000/month. Payments made beyond the deadline may lead to suspension of academic activities until clearance is achieved.
The refund policy allows for partial refunds in case of withdrawal from the program or transfer to another institution. Refunds are processed within 60 days after submission of relevant documents and approval from the administration.
