Fee Structure Overview

The fee structure for the LLB program at The Aryavart International University North Tripura is designed to be transparent and accessible. The total cost of the three-year program includes tuition fees, hostel charges, mess advance, and other essential components.

Tuition Fee: This covers instruction, library access, laboratory usage, and other academic resources provided by the university. Tuition fees are fixed for the duration of the program and do not change unless updated by the university.

Hostel Rent: The hostel accommodation includes single or double occupancy rooms with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet access. Hostel charges vary depending on room type and facilities offered.

Mess Advance: This is a monthly advance payment for meals provided by the university’s cafeteria. The mess billing system operates on a per-meal basis with adjustments made at the end of each month based on consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution towards student welfare activities, including sports, cultural events, and emergency assistance.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services available on campus, including consultations with doctors and access to first aid facilities.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed per day, which varies between 12-15 meals depending on the season. Students receive a monthly bill reflecting their consumption, with adjustments made at the end of each month.

Rebate policies are available for students who reside off-campus or during vacation periods. Rebates are processed automatically and reflected in the subsequent billing cycle.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various financial aid options to deserving students:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a 50% concession on hostel charges.
• EWS Category: Students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees and a 25% concession on hostel charges.
• MCM (Minority Community): A 25% waiver on tuition fees and a 10% concession on hostel charges.

Scholarship criteria are based on academic performance, family income, and social background. The university maintains strict income slabs for eligibility:

• Family income below INR 3 lakhs: Full waiver
• Family income between INR 3-5 lakhs: 50% waiver
• Family income between INR 5-7 lakhs: 25% waiver

Applications for fee waivers and scholarships must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and academic records.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students must complete payment within 15 days of receipt of the fee notice. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day until full payment is received.

Refunds are processed in accordance with university regulations and are subject to verification of documents. Withdrawal requests must be submitted at least one month before the start of the semester, and refunds are processed within 30 days after approval.

The university does not refund fees paid for services already rendered or for reasons beyond student control unless specified otherwise in the refund policy. Students are advised to carefully read the terms and conditions associated with fee payments.
