The university offers multiple hostel options catering to different preferences and budgets. Rooms are categorized into single, double, triple, and quad occupancy arrangements, each with distinct amenities and pricing structures.
Single occupancy rooms cost Rs. 30,000 per semester, while shared accommodations range from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 20,000 depending on the number of occupants. All rooms come equipped with essential furniture, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 24-hour security services.
The mess system operates on a prepaid model where students pay an advance amount for meals. Billing is done monthly based on actual consumption, with adjustments made for absences or special dietary requirements. Special meal plans are available for students with specific dietary needs or religious restrictions.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds during holidays or if they opt out of the mess service temporarily. Refund procedures are straightforward and can be processed within two weeks after submission of necessary documents.
Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships
The university recognizes financial constraints among deserving students and offers various waiver schemes to support their education. Eligibility criteria include family income slabs, caste certificates, and exceptional academic performance.
For SC/ST/PwD candidates, a 100% fee waiver is granted upon verification of eligibility documents. EWS category students receive a 50% concession based on income proof and other supporting evidence. MCM (Minority Community) students are eligible for a 25% reduction in fees.
Scholarships are awarded annually to top-performing students in each academic year. The merit-based scholarship ranges from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month, depending on GPA and extracurricular achievements. Students can apply for these scholarships through the university portal by submitting relevant documentation.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments are accepted through online banking, credit/debit cards, and NEFT/RTGS transfers. Students must complete payment within the specified deadline to avoid late fees or admission complications.
Late fees are calculated at 1% of the total amount per month after the due date. However, exceptions may be made for unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or medical emergencies with proper documentation.
Refunds are processed only upon withdrawal from the university and must be requested within one month of the last semester completion. The refund includes tuition fees (minus a processing fee), hostel rent (if applicable), and mess charges adjusted according to the period of stay.
