Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and access to laboratory facilities. This component is the largest portion of the annual fee and reflects the high-quality education provided by our faculty members.

Hostel Rent: Our campus hostel facilities provide safe and comfortable accommodation for students. The rent includes basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, and common area maintenance. Students can choose from various room types based on their preferences and budget.

Mess Advance: The mess advance covers the cost of meals during the semester. Our cafeteria offers a diverse range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options prepared by professional chefs following strict hygiene standards.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but help provide assistance to those in need.

Medical Fees: The medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided by our on-campus health center, including consultations, minor treatments, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees support campus recreational activities and sports facilities, ensuring students maintain a healthy lifestyle alongside their academic pursuits.

Examination Fees: These fees cover the cost of conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides comprehensive hostel facilities designed to create a comfortable living environment for students. Our hostel accommodations include various room types to suit different preferences:

  • Single Occupancy Rooms: 15,000 INR per semester (includes all amenities)
  • Double Occupancy Rooms: 12,000 INR per semester (includes all amenities)
  • Triple Occupancy Rooms: 10,000 INR per semester (includes all amenities)
  • Quadruple Occupancy Rooms: 8,000 INR per semester (includes all amenities)

The mess billing system is straightforward and transparent. Students pay in advance for the entire semester, with monthly adjustments based on actual consumption. The billing includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner options with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or for those who have special dietary requirements. These rebates are processed monthly and can be applied to the mess advance amount.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial assistance programs to ensure that deserving students can access quality education without financial burden:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from SC/ST categories receive 100% fee waiver, while PwD students receive 50% concession on tuition fees. Additional concessions are available for other categories.
  • EWS Category: Students from Economically Weaker Sections receive 25% concession on tuition fees and 50% on hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community): Students from minority communities receive 10% concession on tuition fees.

Eligibility criteria for fee waivers and concessions are based on income slabs and category certificates. The application process requires submission of relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates (if applicable).

The university also offers merit-based scholarships for students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance throughout their program. These scholarships can cover partial or full fee waivers based on performance criteria.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to make payments through online modes including net banking, credit/debit cards, and UPI transfers. The payment deadlines are clearly communicated at the beginning of each semester to ensure timely processing:

  • Payment Deadlines: Payments must be made by the first week of each semester to avoid late fees.
  • Late Fee Calculation: A late fee of 500 INR per day is applicable for payments made after the deadline.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program or are unable to continue due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • Withdrawal Refund: Students who withdraw before completing one semester receive 50% refund of paid fees, while those withdrawing after one semester receive 25% refund.
  • Refund Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal application approval.

Students must submit a formal withdrawal application along with supporting documents to initiate the refund process. The university reserves the right to deduct any outstanding dues or fees before processing refunds.
