Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, library services, and administrative costs. It is fixed per semester and includes all core academic expenses.
Hostel Rent: Monthly accommodation charges for students residing on campus. The rent varies based on room type (single, double, triple sharing).
Mess Advance: Prepayment for meals during the semester. Students can opt to pay in advance or monthly based on their preference.
Student Benevolent Fund: Contributions towards student welfare activities and emergency aid programs.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available at the campus hospital and health center.
Gymkhana Fees: Access to sports facilities, gymnasium, and recreational activities for physical well-being.
Examination Fees: Covers examination-related costs such as answer sheet evaluation, result processing, and certificate issuance.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers multiple hostel options catering to different needs. Room types include single, double, and triple sharing with attached bathrooms and common study areas.
Mess charges are calculated based on meal frequency and dietary preferences. Students can choose between standard and premium meal plans that include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Rebate policies apply for students who are away during holidays or for special occasions. These rebates are processed monthly and credited to the student's account automatically.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Several financial aid options are available for deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees. Additional support includes scholarships up to ₹25,000 per semester.
- EWS Category: Students in this category receive a 25% discount on tuition fees and access to merit-based scholarships based on performance.
- MCM (Merit Cum Means): Merit-based scholarships are awarded to top-performing students with income below ₹4 lakhs annually. Amount ranges from ₹10,000–₹30,000 per semester.
To apply for these benefits, students must submit supporting documents including income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and academic transcripts. Applications are processed annually through the finance department.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid online via net banking or credit/debit card. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500 per day until full payment is made.
If a student withdraws from the program before the end of the semester, a refund of tuition fees (minus administrative charges) will be processed within 30 days. No refund is applicable for hostel rent or mess advance unless otherwise specified in writing by the administration.
