Fee Structure Explanation
The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, access to online learning platforms, laboratory sessions, and other academic resources. It is divided into eight semesters for a total duration of four years.
Hostel rent provides accommodation within the university campus, ensuring students have a safe and conducive environment for study and personal development. The rent includes utilities such as electricity, water, internet, and maintenance services.
Mess advance covers meals provided by the university’s central mess facility. Students are billed monthly based on actual consumption, with refunds issued at the end of each month if excess funds remain.
The Student Benevolent Fund is a small annual contribution that supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. It also funds activities such as sports events, cultural programs, and academic competitions.
Medical fees cover basic healthcare services available on campus, including consultations with general physicians and access to emergency care facilities.
Gymkhana fees support the maintenance of sports facilities and extracurricular activities that promote physical wellness and teamwork among students.
Examination fees are charged for conducting end-of-semester tests and final exams. These charges cover administrative costs, proctoring, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers several types of hostels with varying amenities:
- Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹40,000 per semester for air-conditioned rooms with individual study spaces and Wi-Fi access.
- Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹35,000 per semester for shared rooms with common study areas and recreational facilities.
- Triple Occupancy Rooms: ₹30,000 per semester for budget-friendly options suitable for students seeking affordability without compromising comfort.
The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle. Students are charged ₹15,000 upfront as an advance, which is adjusted based on consumption at the end of each month. Rebates are available for students who consume less than average usage levels, and certain scholarships may also cover partial or full mess charges.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
