Breakdown of Fee Components
Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers instruction, library access, laboratory facilities, and administrative support. It is paid on a semester basis and includes access to all course materials and digital resources.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation is provided in air-conditioned hostels with 2-3 sharing rooms. The hostel fee covers utilities, security, maintenance, and basic amenities such as beds, wardrobes, and study tables.
Mess Advance: A fixed mess advance is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses. The amount is adjusted based on the number of days spent in the hostel during the semester.
Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial difficulties and contributes to campus welfare activities such as sports events, cultural programs, and community service projects.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services available on campus including consultations with general physicians and access to emergency care facilities.
Gymkhana Fees: These fees support the maintenance of gymnasiums, sports equipment, and recreational activities organized by the university's student union.

Hostel & Mess Charges
The university provides comfortable accommodation in well-maintained hostels equipped with modern amenities. Hostel rooms are categorized into single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy options.
Room Types
- Single Occupancy Room: Private room with attached bathroom and study space. Monthly rent is INR 20000.
- Double Occupancy Room: Shared room with two occupants, each having their own bed and study desk. Monthly rent is INR 15000.
- Triple Occupancy Room: Shared room for three occupants, with common bathroom facilities. Monthly rent is INR 12000.
Mess Billing System
The mess billing system operates on a daily meal count basis, where students are charged according to the number of meals consumed. A monthly advance payment is required, which is adjusted at the end of the month based on actual consumption.
Rebate Policies
Students who are absent for more than 3 days in a month may be eligible for partial rebate on their mess charges. Additionally, students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds receive a 50% discount on hostel rent and mess charges.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several financial aid options to support deserving students:
Scholarship Categories
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver is provided for students belonging to these categories.
- EWS Category: 50% discount on tuition fees and full waiver on hostel charges.
- MCM (Most Backward Classes): 30% discount on tuition fees and partial waiver on hostel charges.
Income Slabs for Financial Aid
Eligibility for fee concessions is based on the annual income of the family, with the following slabs:
- Below INR 200000: Full fee waiver
- INR 200001 - 400000: 50% discount on tuition fees
- INR 400001 - 600000: 30% discount on tuition fees
- Above INR 600000: No concession
Application Process
Students interested in applying for fee waivers or concessions must submit a detailed application form along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and bank statements. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee and decisions are communicated within two weeks.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. The university provides a detailed payment schedule with deadlines for each installment.
Late Fee Calculations
A late fee of INR 1000 per day is applicable for payments beyond the deadline. Students are advised to make timely payments to avoid additional charges.
Refund Rules
If a student withdraws from the program before completing one semester, a refund of 75% of the paid fees will be processed after deducting administrative charges. Refunds for students who leave mid-semester are handled on a pro-rata basis.
