Component-wise Breakdown
Tuition Fee (₹75,000): Covers instruction, course materials, library access, and administrative costs. The fee includes access to online learning platforms, research databases, and career guidance services.
Hostel Rent (₹30,000): Includes accommodation in fully furnished rooms with shared or private facilities. Hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security.
Mess Advance (₹25,000): Covers food expenses for the semester. Students can adjust their mess bill based on consumption, with a monthly billing cycle from January to December.
Student Benevolent Fund (₹1000): A nominal contribution towards student welfare activities, including cultural events and sports competitions.
Medical Fees (₹2000): Covers basic healthcare services available at the university clinic and emergency medical assistance.
Gymkhana Fees (₹1500): Supports physical fitness programs, gym access, and recreational facilities on campus.
Examination Fees (₹3000): Covers examination conduct, result processing, and transcript issuance.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers multiple hostel options to accommodate students based on their preferences:
- Single Occupancy Room: ₹15,000/month (shared bathroom)
- Double Occupancy Room: ₹12,000/month (shared bathroom)
- Triple Occupancy Room: ₹10,000/month (shared bathroom)
- Four Occupancy Room: ₹8,000/month (shared bathroom)
Mess billing is done monthly based on consumption. Students receive a detailed bill showing daily meals consumed and any adjustments made. Rebates are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or during leave periods.
Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships
The university offers several financial aid schemes to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fee and hostel rent for eligible candidates with income below ₹2 lakhs/year.
- EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fee and full waiver on hostel rent for families earning below ₹4 lakhs/year.
- MCM (Mentally Challenged Students): Full waiver on all fees with additional support for adaptive learning needs.
Application for these concessions must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, disability certificates, and caste certificates. The process involves verification by the financial aid committee followed by approval or rejection within 15 days.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees must be paid online via net banking or debit/credit card on the designated portal. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced:
- First Installment: Due by 1st August
- Second Installment: Due by 1st January
Late payments attract a penalty of ₹200/day beyond the due date. Students must ensure timely payment to avoid academic penalties.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies are as follows:
- Withdrawal within 15 days: Full refund minus administrative charges
- Withdrawal between 16–30 days: 70% refund
- Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund
Refunds are processed within 30 working days of withdrawal approval, subject to verification of all dues and documents.
