Fee Components Explanation
The tuition fee covers access to all academic resources, including library materials, digital databases, laboratory facilities, and online learning platforms. Hostel accommodation is provided in modern dormitories with shared amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, and common rooms.
Hostel & Mess Charges
Hostel rooms are categorized into single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy options. Each room comes equipped with basic furniture including beds, study tables, wardrobes, and fans. The mess billing system is transparent and managed through an online portal where students can track their expenses and meals consumed.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds during vacations or if they leave the campus for more than one week. Additional charges apply for late payments, which are calculated at 5% per month beyond the due date.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Financial assistance is available to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The university offers scholarships based on academic merit and need, with specific eligibility criteria for each category:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee and hostel charges, along with monthly stipend support.
- EWS Category: 50% reduction in tuition fee and full waiver of hostel charges.
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): 75% reduction in tuition fee and partial waiver of hostel charges.
Students must submit relevant documents during the application process, including income certificates, caste certificates, and proof of migration status. Applications are reviewed by a committee that ensures fair distribution of aid among deserving candidates.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within 10 days of admission to avoid late fees. Students can pay online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI platforms. A late fee of INR 500 per day is applicable after the due date.
Refunds are processed for students who withdraw from the program within 15 days of admission. After this period, refunds are subject to certain deductions and approval by the administration office. Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documents and signed by parents/guardians.
