Fee Component Explanation

Tuition Fee: This component covers instruction, laboratory sessions, and access to academic resources such as libraries, digital databases, and software tools. The fee is designed to ensure high-quality education through experienced faculty and modern infrastructure.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided in shared rooms with basic amenities including bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and internet connectivity. The rent includes utilities such as electricity, water, and maintenance services.

Mess Advance: Mess advance covers food expenses for the entire semester. Students are required to pay this amount at the beginning of each semester to ensure uninterrupted access to meals provided by the college cafeteria.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are minimal but play a vital role in providing emergency assistance and scholarships to deserving candidates.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services available on campus, including consultations with doctors, medicine distribution, and health check-ups. The fee ensures that students have access to timely healthcare during their studies.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities and sports facilities. This includes access to gymnasiums, swimming pools, indoor games, and outdoor sports fields for recreational purposes.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting semester examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, evaluation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel accommodation at Arihant College offers comfortable living conditions for students pursuing their digital marketing studies. Rooms are allocated on a sharing basis, with single occupancy options available upon request.

Room types include:

• Single Room: Comfortable private room with attached bathroom and study area.
• Double Sharing: Shared room with two students, each having individual beds and study desks.
• Triple Sharing: Shared room accommodating three students with common study spaces and facilities.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students pay advance fees for meals. The menu is designed to provide nutritious and balanced meals at reasonable prices, ensuring that students maintain good health during their studies.

Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to academic or health-related reasons, subject to proper documentation and approval from hostel authorities.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Arihant College offers various fee waivers and concessions to eligible students based on their economic background and performance. These include:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees for students belonging to these categories.
• EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fees for economically disadvantaged students.
• MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% reduction in tuition fees for minority community members.

Eligibility criteria for these benefits are determined based on income slabs and supporting documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, and Aadhaar cards. Students must apply through the official portal and submit required documentation within the specified deadline.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made online via net banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI transfers. Alternatively, students may opt for cash payments at designated counters on campus during working hours.

Late fees are charged at a rate of 100 rupees per day for delayed payments beyond the due date. Students are encouraged to make timely payments to avoid any inconvenience or penalties.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students are eligible for refunds as per the refund policy outlined by the college administration. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of all necessary documents and clearance of dues. Any outstanding fees including hostel rent, mess advance, and examination fees must be settled before initiating the refund process.
