Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory sessions, library access, and academic resources. This fee is non-refundable and covers the entire academic year.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted hostels with shared amenities such as common rooms, study areas, laundry facilities, and maintenance services.
Mess Advance: Paid upfront to cover meal expenses for the semester. Refundable upon completion of the semester if unused.
Student Benevolent Fund: A contribution towards student welfare initiatives, including scholarships, medical assistance, and emergency support.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's health center, including consultations, diagnostics, and minor treatments.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports and recreational activities, including gym access, sports equipment rentals, and fitness programs.
Examination Fees: Covers examination-related costs such as question paper preparation, evaluation, result declaration, and transcript issuance.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers various types of hostels with different room configurations to accommodate students' preferences and budgets. Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, triple occupancy, and quad occupancy rooms.
Mess billing is done monthly based on the number of days attended. Meals are served in three shifts (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and can be customized according to dietary requirements such as vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or special diets.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds for missed meals due to valid reasons such as illness, academic commitments, or travel. Applications must be submitted with supporting documents within 30 days of the incident.
Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships
The university provides several financial aid options for eligible students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver based on caste certificate and disability certificate issued by competent authorities.
- EWS Category: 50% fee concession based on income certificate from local authorities.
- MCM (Mother of Child with Merit): 75% fee concession for students whose mothers have been awarded national or state-level awards for excellence in education or social service.
Eligibility criteria are strictly enforced, and applications must be submitted along with required documents during the admission process or as per scheduled dates.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Payment can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, NEFT/RTGS, or demand draft. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 1000 per day beyond the due date.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal from the program or completion of the semester if applicable. Refund eligibility depends on factors such as course completion status, attendance records, and payment history.
