Fee Components Explained

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, academic resources, and access to departmental laboratories.
  • Hostel Rent: Monthly accommodation charges for students staying on campus.
  • Mess Advance: Prepaid monthly charges for meals at the campus cafeteria.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: A small fee used to support financially disadvantaged students.
  • Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the college medical center.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Used for maintaining sports facilities and organizing fitness programs.
  • Examination Fees: Paid per semester for conducting internal and external examinations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The college offers various room types including single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Hostel charges vary based on room type and amenities provided:

  • Single Occupancy Room: INR 20,000 per month
  • Double Occupancy Room: INR 15,000 per month
  • Triple Occupancy Room: INR 10,000 per month

The mess billing system operates on a monthly cycle. Students must pay an advance of INR 15,000 for the first month and then settle accounts at the end of each month based on consumption.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

We provide fee waivers and concessions to students belonging to SC/ST/PwD, EWS, and MCM categories:

  • SC/ST/PwD Students: 50% waiver on tuition fee and full concession on hostel rent.
  • EWS Students: 25% waiver on tuition fee and partial concession on hostel rent.
  • MCM Students: 10% waiver on tuition fee and free mess charges.

Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs and documentation required. Applications for financial aid must be submitted by the last week of August each year.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid before the start of each semester or as per the schedule announced by the finance department. Late payments attract a fee of INR 500 per day beyond the due date.

If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:

  • Before First Semester: Full refund minus administrative charges
  • After First Semester: Refund of 80% after deducting administrative charges
  • After Third Semester: No refund is granted
