Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and infrastructure maintenance. It is fixed annually based on institutional policies and government guidelines.
Hostel Rent provides accommodation for students residing on campus. Room types vary from single occupancy to shared rooms with basic amenities including bed, study table, chair, and wardrobe.
Mess Advance is a prepayment for food services provided through the college mess system. The advance is adjusted against monthly bills, and any remaining balance is refunded at the end of the academic year.
Student Benevolent Fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to foster community support among students.
Medical Fees cover basic healthcare services provided by the college's medical center. This includes consultations, diagnostic tests, and minor treatments.
Gymkhana Fees contribute to recreational activities and sports facilities available on campus. These funds support equipment maintenance, tournament participation, and student wellness programs.
Examination Fees are applicable for each semester’s end-term exams. They cover the cost of conducting examinations, evaluation, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel accommodation at BAGULA MUKHI COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY is designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students. Room types include single occupancy rooms (Rs. 40,000/year), double occupancy rooms (Rs. 35,000/year), and triple occupancy rooms (Rs. 30,000/year).
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with students receiving bills after the first week of each month. Rebate policies are available for students who do not use the mess facility for more than 10 days in a month.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Fee waivers and concessions are available for students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories. The eligibility criteria include income slabs not exceeding Rs. 4 lakh per annum and valid category certificates issued by competent authorities.
EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) students may receive partial fee concessions based on family income and other factors. MCM (Minority Community Members) students are also eligible for special consideration under government guidelines.
Application for financial aid involves submitting required documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar cards. The process is handled by the finance department with transparent review procedures.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Students must complete payment within 15 days of receiving the fee notice. Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day until full payment is received.
The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program before completing one semester. The refund amount is calculated based on the proportion of fees paid versus the actual cost incurred.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal, subject to verification of documents and compliance with institutional policies.
